About Freshwater-Fishing
All About Fresh-Water Fishing
Fresh-water-fishing encompasses so many wonderful areas of angling. For me Fly Fishing is a lot like playing golf, once you start you just cannot stop, its an addiction, and it becomes a passion, a calling, and many fishing trips probably are a very spiritual experience. This is certainly true with Trout Fishing .
I was hooked on fly-fishing the very first time I started understanding the basics of entomology and the artistically beautiful art of fly tying.
You start to realise how complicated it can all get when some fishing outlets tell you that they stock some 35,000 flies, with more than a thousand patterns as well. There is a lot to learn about Fly Fishing Lures and Fly Fishing Flies
This of course goes to reinforce the essential need to fully understand nature and to genuinely "hunt" the freshwater species you are fishing for, what is really great about this sport is that so many beautiful fish are released.
I would suggest if you can, to take a Fly Fishing Course as it will fast track you into this great sport and pastime and avoid some very frustrating mistakes and allow you to develop some good techniques
Everything from the rods and the reels, the lines, the various knots, and Fly Fishing Equipment all contribute to the finesse required for freshwater-fishing. Fly fishermen also get to visit and camp out in the most beautiful wilderness areas and isolated areas in the world, and they truly get to communicate with nature.

Ask any serious fly fisherman and they will tell you about a special river, or perhaps a stream or favourite lake somewhere. It’s always best to try and talk to experienced fishermen and pick up some Trout Fishing Tips as well as any other useful fly-fishing advice. Taking a fishing vacation is high on many peoples list of priorities so why not go on a Rainbow Trout Fishing Trip in Alaska or some great Bass Fishing Trips . The choices are endless.
For those who don’t mind doing something a little more adventurous then the whole world of Fishing Kayaks and Fishing Canoes make the fly fishing even more challenging and interesting
Who Am I?
My name is JOHN C PAYNE, and some of you already have one of my marine electrical or marine electronics books. I am both a qualified and practising marine electrical and electronics engineer and marine surveyor. Lastly I am also a fisherman just like you! For those of you wish larger fishing boats you can also check out The Motorboat Electrical and Electronics Manual.
Some reviews on The Fisherman's Electrical Manual
He speaks our language.....If there was ever a book to make the marine electrical system understandable, this is the book. If there was ever a book that will give every boat owner more confidence about how things work, this is it. If there was ever a book you'll want to carry with you on board, this is the one to have.
